Welcome to the Biking Circle
My name is Lynn Smythe. I am the mentor for the Biking Circle. Go Biking is a circle for all cycling enthusiasts to enjoy. Mountain biking, road biking, charity bike rides, fitness, nutrition, bike racing, cycling gear and more are all subjects that will be discussed on the biking circle.
Although I own three different types of bikes, a beach cruiser, a single speed cyclocross bike and a road bike, I am mostly a roadie. No one will ever mistake me for a hammerhead. My preferred speed of travel, while riding my road bike, is in the 17-20 MPH range, with occasional bursts up to 26-30 MPH.
My husband and I participate in various charity road bike events including the MS150, Frank Stark Celebration Ride and century rides with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training program.

My day job entails writing freelance copy for different print publications and online content providers. In my free time I like to cook, garden, sew, drum and play with beads, art clay silver and fused glass .
I have started racing in local time trials and duathlons, so I am in the market for a dedicated triathlon bike to add to my growing bike collection. A duathlon is similar to a triathlon, but instead of swim-bike-run, we run-bike-run.
I look forward to meeting and talking to you on the Biking Circle.
