When people come to my office for counseling, as they have been doing for 27 years, even if they have to discuss something very uncomfortable, there is usually a sigh of relief before the discussion. I think it’s because inner peace, to the degree that I embody it, is in the room. I am present to the individual, whatever their “problem,” to bring peace to them within it. Over the years I’ve realized that everyone brings me the same thing: fear, in all its disguises. It’s really the only problem.
